Went to see "Club Dread" again last night. Even better the second time!
Joe and Jen came down from KC today and we hung out on Mass. Good times. I even found some Daim at the European market!
Might be going into KC tonight.
Hello, my name is Jeff. Can I buy you a drink?
Went to see "Club Dread" again last night. Even better the second time!
Got to see a sneak of "Club Dread" last night. I think with time, I'll like it even better than "Super Troopers." But as it was, it was great. Look forward to seeing it again soon.
Whew... finally finished my application for grad school in Amsterdam. Mailed it off on Friday afternoon. Probably won't hear back about it for quite a while. Still, good to have it in. Celebrated finishing it by going to a wine party at Colt's on Friday. Lots of interesting people and lots of wine. Always a good mix. ;)
The oddest thing happened tonight in my African American Images in Film class. We were having a discussion, when all of a sudden, I saw a pigeon drop from a hole in the ceiling. It didn't fly down or swoop, it just dropped. It got up and started flying around for a bit. It took about twenty minutes before we could get it out of the room. Definitely one of the coolest things I've seen in college EVER.
Keeping busy. Saw "In America" with Adam on Friday. Great film. Was completely engrossed up until the last half-hour. It was still good past that point, just a bit odd compared to the rest of the film. Go see it!
Well, things are sort of getting back to normal after the weather last week. There is still snow everywhere, but at least it's not snowing all the time.
A copy of Lynn Haney's "Gregory Peck: A Charmed Life" arrived in the post today. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but look forward to doing so. If you look closely, there's even a picture of lil' ol' me along with Mr. Peck. ;) Thanks, Lynn!
