Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. I am alive and (un)well in Italy at the moment, attending Spring School in Gradisca D'Isonzo. I have been here since March 30th. Before that I was in Manchester for a week and had the opportunity to catch up with friends.

I will be here until Friday, at which point I will head to Venice and stay the night. I am looking forward to it as I have always wanted to visit. We saw the city briefly from the air as we landed at Marco Polo airport. Should be great. Already have loads of photos and hope to get more. Definitely going on a gondola. ;)

I suppose I should go for now. I have come down with a rather nasty cold virus and need to get to the pharmacy. Hope to feel better before I get to Venice. Will post pictures when I get back. Until then, ciao!
