Well, here we go. Another Monday night/Tuesday morning that I can't fall asleep. Sigh.

Didn't do much Monday. Woke up late and spent the afternoon working on my essay for American History of Sound Film. For those keeping tabs, this was the paper that I interviewed Robert Forster for. It took me forever to get started, but I think it ended up okay, if not a tad on the short side. I took the liberty of posting it online and you can read it by clicking here. And just because I love it so much, here's the autograph that Bob sent me... May the Fors be with you!

Not much else to report. A lady from the Halfway To Hollywood film festival was at class tonight. I managed to score some free passes. I hope to use them on "Wisconsin Death Trip."

After class I came back and watched "The Sweet Hereafter." Don't quite know what to say about it. Ian Holm did a damn good job, but I felt rather... eh... cheated, at the end...

Well, I guess it's time to try and figure out a way to catch some sleep. Until then, I'll be watching the videos at Jay-Jay Johanson's new website.
